Phos Reactor Suggestions?

Looking into buying a phos reactor, and hoping you guys had some suggestions or recommendations.

I use a ViaAqua Poly-Reactor. Works great and comes with a pump and all the plumbing you need.

I use 2 of the Two Little fishes reactors and have excelent results out of them.

:question: I do not have one on my tank. What are the benefits? Does it do the same thing as the Algae Scrubber?

Thanks for the suggestions. I had to order a few maintenance items so I got the 2 little fishies which was all the company sold. I also bought a sea hare yesterday, he is doing what they advertise. My fish keep shaking there tails by his head and he has something hanging out his a$$.

you use them to run GFO in to help reduce phosphates or you can run carbon in them.

Yeah, phosphate reactors basically force water upwards through media, which makes the water come into contact with the media for a longer period of time, and over a larger surface area. This is a lot more effective than having water flow downward through media. You can get a decent one for around $40 new, so they're not by any means a pricey piece of equipment in this hobby.
