plz help.howto get rid of lose debris?

hey fellas

my tank has been cycling for about 3 weeks. I've noticed lots of little debris floating in water. so I took my power head and blew off all my live rock. a TON of crap came off em and is floating around and is starting to settle.

what's the best way to get rid of it? I was going to take hose and start a sifion and strain the water through some filter pads. any other ideas?

If you have a sump, filter socks would take care of these.

If you do not have a sump, you can hook up a power filter or canister filter for temporary mechanical filtration.

Siphoning with filter pads/socks would work too.

the prices of debris are quite large. they look exactly like price of dead skin after a sun burn lol. so they don't make it into my overflow.

Use a fish net like you are cleaning out the pool.
