powerhead in the sump?

Is there any major pro's or con's to putting a small powerhead in the sump on your wet/dry just to keep the water from getting stagnit on top? The stagnit water may not even hurt anything but it looks a little funky at times. And i have a small powerhead just sitting here.

How'd the powerhead in your sump work out for ya kmyers?

well it cleaned out all the junk in the sump on the bottom. And it is keeping the water from getting that gross film on top of it. Other than that i don't really see a big difference in any thing
