powerhead issues

So I recently received two dual powerheads in the mail. Both came in brand new. One of them is not blowing a very good current. the powerhead paddles are spinning, but is not causing a current. Any suggestions on why this is happening. Please let me know.

Is it by chance, spinning backwards? Put your hand about the area where water is supposed to be drawn in, and see if it's moving the water in reverse.

Try plugging it in over and over again. It should reverse itself eventually. It's a known problem with some powerheads.
