Powerheads for 125?

Hey guys, I'm planning my 125 and wanted your advice on what Koralia powerheads to get. 1050 gph or 1400 gph? Since the tank is bigger do I need more than two? It's the 6 foot size 125. I don't even have the tank yet but MarineDepot has a 10% off sale so I'm getting a few things for it (today only by the way - coupon code is LEAPYEAR).

I would even go to the magnum size. you want 20-40 times your tank volume per hour if I remember correctly. This also depends on what you want to keep in the tank though.

+2 I've got 2 1400, 850, and 750 plus the lil bit for the return pump all in a 90 gallon. And it does good.

So with a 6 foot tank, should I be putting a powerhead or two in the middle of the tank (no just in the corners)? Which way would I point it?

That depends on the aquascaping. I've got them in all the corners. The back left is pointed up towards the surface on the back wall, I've added one in th front that is pointed down towards the sand bed, the back right is pointed down towards the sand bed, and the front is towards the surface. There's a few dead spots but you just have to adjust accordingly until you like it.
