what would be wrong with me using this light on my tank? Any issues down the road that I may run into?

I see no problem with that light. Looks like it will be fine for your 180.

Aquatraders are good. The only issue i had was with the ballast, which they replaced and paid for shipping.
Also you may need a fan blowing across the water due to the MH heat build up.
