protein skimmer not making foam any more

protein skimmer not making foam any more, i got a coralife protein skimmer, first few weeks it produced alot of foam, lately it has only have been filling up with water, i have tried adjustments but it does not seem to work:frustrat:

I don't know much about protein skimmers, but is the air intake possibly clogged? How about your sump, is the level of water staying constant?

currently it on the back of my 30 gal tank, i do plan on putting it in a sump set up

sometimes it fills up with in a matter of mins, i have tryied to adjust the water intake..but still not foam like it did when i first got it

Happened to mine too, a good cleaning and making sure the airline is clear fixed my issues. I ran mine in vinegar water for a day, worked like a charm.

to get this right you took it out of your tank and put it in a bucket with vinegar and water?
