Is there ANYTHING you can do to keep a puffer from eating all the algae, etc.. off my live rock? Is there something I can put in he'd like to chew on instead of the live rock?

How often are you feeding your fish? And what kinda food?

Your puffer eats algae??? The puffers I've seen eat meat(crabs,shrimp,stars,etc.)

They have to do that so their teeth dont get so big they cant eat.

Good to know, Yote. My puffer also picked at my corals like crazy; I had to get rid of him.
