PVC overflow box.

I made my own overflow with pvc. I used purple primer and cement to glue the pipes together. As long as I let it set for a couple of days it shouldn't kill my corals and fish correct. Also can't I cap off the overflow pipe and use a vacuum at the end of the piping to suck the air out of the pipe so water can flow. Thanks

The primer and cement will be fine...I'm not sure about your second question.

Basically can I use a little shop vac to suck the air out of the end of the pvc pipe. All other holes in the whole pvc piping will be closed shut besides the opening hole in the fish tank
