Paranoid Reefer
So I am trying to decide on my quarantine set up. My problem is space. I only have a small dimension to fit a tank in (12wx10dx18h). I have been considering the ecoxotic eco pico 5 gal as it would fit nicely, and has led lights from a company I trust. I do, however, find it a little difficult to spend $100 on a QT. I figure I can use it to cultivate macro for pod growing while not using it as a quarantine, but still....
I am finding it hard to decide on what to do. I am mostly concerned with lighting for my QT. The tank will be in my DT's cabinet. So, if I buy corals and put them in my QT, I don't want them being stressed from LACK of lighting. That's where the ecopico comes in. Any suggestions? Anyone out there have a good, small, well lit QT option? Or is Ecopico my guy?
