question about glass

i got a used tank and i think it may have been cleaned with glass cleaner - what would you suggest for making it safe - i was going to fill with just plain water and let it run with an old hang on filter to circulate it for a while since i'm also resealing it for safety sake -

Clean off thw whole tank inside and out with a vinegar, do it twice if you want to be sure, then fill and circulate with a water to rinse out 2,3 times if you want to be sure, then before you are ready set in some water and test it with your ammo kit.
