Question. Need help asap

So I was installing the new MH's and this little ceramic piece broke off.

It doesnt look like it would affect anything but im just wondering if I should get another light just in case it is a hazard or anything.

When I was using MH those things would break off all the time!!! I just ignored it. That may not be the best course of action though... :shock:

well as long as nothing happened. I dont see why it would effect anything though.

from an electrical hazard standpoint it looks fine and no danger at all. If your worried about it you could always superglue it back on. It is most likely there just to keep water bubbles from popping saltwater onto the metal and corroding em.
