Is there another way to raise your PH without using the PH buffer. Like something you can do at home by yourself? Like a DIY??

baking soda i believe, but i dont know much about the dosing. Im sure if you do a search on the site you will get the rest of the info you need.

what your ph...remember ph fluctuates during the day and at night
also regular water changes should be enough as the salt thats used has everyting you need including ph levels that are adequate

vodka dosing is for reducing nitrates, but he does have a good point.
your pH will fluctuate during the day, being highest in the evening when there has been lots of photosynthesis going on. Also, its very hard to get a stable pH if you calcium, alk and magnesium are also out of line.
