Hello everyone!
I just moved to Virginia from the Seattle area, I'll be starting up my aquariums this spring, and collecting equipment all winter(lots of shopping). so i'll have lots of questions- it's been awhile since my last tank, so please bear with me and my questions.

started looking for a tank, I' m thinking about a 120 gal fish and a 75 or 100 gal reef. Does anyone have thoughts on the brand and type of tank.

aga makes good tanks, perfecto, oceanic. they are all good tanks. you may be able to get one from glasscages.com but i have heard stories about the seams poping on them.

How about a nice Zero Edge?
Oh they are pre-drilled, so to speak.

Have you thought about whether you want a drilled tank or not? I highly recommend getting a drilled on, as it will make it easy to add a sump, which is highly desirable.
