Hey guys I got a question. I got a Syncra 4.0 for my return pump but I'm trying to figure out if that is enough for my tank. I got about 6 feet of head raise to the output of the return pipe at the too of the tank. My return PVC is 3/4" and I'll be using a few 90's to plumb the pump and I will also run a carbon reactor from the same pump with a ball valve to adjust the flow going to the reactor.
My return has a 1" PVC and the syncra 4.0 is rate for 951gph at 0' head raise and 687gph with 7' head raise and that's not including the 90's and the T to run the reactor.
Obvious this won't be my only source of flow in the tank but is that a good turn over for the sump or shou I go with a more powerful pump and if so which. It could either be insump or external.
