Ricordea Mushroom - to much light

Just checking to see if my ricordea mushroom is getting to much light ...

At night, when the LED moonlighting is "on" my ricordea mushroom lays out flat and looks "relaxed." When the main lights are on, my ricordea pulls inwards a little and the side curl up.

Normal behavior?

thats normal my ricordea's do the exact same thing, the bigger ones.nice ric picture ! Where do you have them placed in your tank? they like to be lower in tanks or else there colors fade after a while due to to much light i found as well.

Right now he's at the lowest point in my tank (which is tall) but he is in the middle of the tank directly under the Metal Halide. Maybe I'll move him to the side.

Does yours actually attach to rock? Mine never did.

If it's happy where it's at in the tank, it will attach itself.

I think their colors also fade if they dont get enough light, ive moved mine all over my tank, just have to find the right spot.
