RO/DI water system

There seems to be an endless array of water filteration options available for marine tanks. I would like to buy one and I have no idea which is good. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
PS We are currently having trouble with Cyano bacteria and I think it is our water source.

You can get a decent RODI unit for $125 to $150. You want at least a 4-stage unit. Check out:

You will also want to buy a TDS meter for the RODI unit. You can spend extra to get an in-line one, but you can also get a handheld TDS meter for $10 to $15 on Ebay. Be sure to get calibration fluid with it. The TDS meter will show you that your RODI filters are working properly.
