Sand placement

Just got done setting the rest of my tank up. I put the rock in and then the sand. I did not think about putting the sand in as I added the rock so there are holes and voids in the rock areas and especialy in the back.

Question is now how is a good way to move this sand around and get more in behind the rock? I have too much in the front. Any ideas and techniques?

Use a long wooden spoon or dowl rod to push it around into the spaces between the rocks. Do it slowly so you don't have another sand storm. Also turn off the pumps when you do this and then turn them back on when you are done.
