my kids got a hold of the mag float and must of had sand in it and scratched the glass.is there something out there that will fix these scratches?:frustrat:

Not really. Unfortunately I did the same exact thing...ON MY OWN! So has just about every hobbiest that I know at some point in time.

No, not with glass, sorry. It extra sucks when algae starts growing in the scratch :(

Yea, you dont really even notice them until the damn algae starts highlighting every single one.

well iam thinking of getting a 300gal next year so maybe it wont happen to that one.it just sucks though.when i learn how to take good pics i will show you guys/gals my tank and you will see what i mean.i is so nice(without the scratches).:grumble::grumble::grumble:

My tank is only got livestock in the past few weeks, and I noticed two big, ugly scratches DEAD CENTRE of the front glass......grrrrr

I think that scratching the piss out of your tank just after setup is a prerequisite for being a reefer! I did the same exact thing within two months of setting mine up.
