Found this hitchhiker too!.. Found a gorilla crab hidding in a rock... :( are they hard to remove?

you've just started your cycle right? If so you can just pull the rock out he is in and put him in a bucket of RO water. Inverts don't last long in fresh water. Usually will come out real quick.

I mean at worst case you can leave it in the fresh water longer. It will of course kill him. You can try a crab trap or something like that to try and catch him. Gorilla crabs are not usually thought of as reef safe crabs
