sea shells

I have a question. I have several LARGE sea shells that are about 20 years old. They were bleached 20 years ago. I was wondering if i rinse them off well in RO water if i would be able to place them in the tank.. Or is there another cleaning process i should do to them (Vinegar) maybe.

I don't know where they have been since you bleached them 20 years ago but I would probably boil them and sun bleach them before dumping them in my tank.

Bleach is cheap, I would bleach them a second time just to be safe

They have been sitting in a vase for the last 10 years. They came from the bahamas i think. I really hope they can just soak in RO water and be fine. They are not coated with anything..

I would just do a quick rinse with hot water and toss them in the tank.
