my skimmer seems to be working but the suctions not working or making bubbles help!:frustrat:

What kind of skimmer you got. They all work differantly and I only know how to set up a few of em so maybe can help maybe not.

its a cascade700 filter

Ah thats not a skimmer. It won't make the foam or bubbles like a skimmer will. I've also never used one so have no clue how it works.

it has an intake and i guess blows air out but its not doing nothing

Have you thought about giving up on that type of filter and using a more natural type filtration?

well skimmers dont always act right when they are first started up. It may just need to get broken in. I hope someone with some canister experience gets on to say exactly what it is

Hrm....really doesn't look like a skimmer. Is it this one:

It doesn't mention anything about skimming. Maybe I'm wrong :shock:
