snails..making a run for it?

i just purchased a handful of nass and cerith snails... I've noticed that almost all of them seem to hang around the edge of the water level or slightly above it partially out of the water.

Is this normal behavior?

My cerith snails always stayed at the top of the water line during the day, kind of where they "slept" until the lights went out. But that's unusual for nass. they should be burrowed into the sand. Do you have stray voltage?

Alright, i'm a big liar. You are correct. All the ones i am looking at are cerith... If thats normal behavior for cerith then i'm happy i think

Ya I wouldn't be too worried yet, when the lights go out see if they've moved down to start their day (er night) :)
