Planning on getting a snow flake eel tomorrow for my fish only tank. Does anyone know if it will eat a turbo snail.

The Snowflake Eel is safe to house with any fish it cannot easily swallow. It can be housed with some invertebrates, like anemones and corals, but not crustaceans. I would guess a snail might taste good

If it's a big enough turbo snail, you should be okay.
Also any invert added BEFORE the eel is generally safe. It's the stuff you add after him you need to worry about.

Thanks, I have my biggest 2 turbo snails in that tank right now. When the eel gets bigger i'll just put them back in the reef tank. Searching online gave me the same answer. Some people lost a few and some never had a problem.
