Solvent on Bulk Heads?

With the pluming, should I use solvent on the bulk head and pipe?

Is it a PVC bulkhead? PVC pipe? Then, yes I would use solvent on both. It softens and etches the plastic to prepare for glue. Without primer or solvent, you really aren't glueing (fusing) anything together.

Ty lots Rcpilot, I kinda forgot my pw again and had to reset. I have the sump installed and running, but as always I have another Issue with the Eshopps wd-125 filter. I dont know if u have any xp with that model but I will post a pic of where water is gushing out every 10 to 15 sec.
