OK gang, what are the squiggly things hanging out of this mushroom? A peppermint shrimp lives in the darkness of this photo.

This is OK??? It that why the shrimp is tending it? to get the poop???

EDIT: now it seems to be pulling all that back in and the shrimp "seems" to of lost interest.

OK.. zoas don't seem to like me but it is ok cause I'm really getting into srooms.

It is OK. Sometimes a coral will eat stuff and spit out remaining stuff that it cannot digest.

The shrimp is scavenging for bits of food that the coral is spitting out.
The shrimp does not know (or care) whether the food is on its way into the coral's mouth or on its way out.
