Mar 26, 2008 #6 Bifferwine I am a girl I would remove them. I've heard too many stories of asterinas being harmless for a while, then BAM, all of a sudden they are eating corals.

Mar 26, 2008 #9 bjohanson1234 ......... How big do these asternia get? I have noticed two starfish in my tank the past ocuple days. They are about 1/2" diameter. Whiteish tan color. Brian

Mar 26, 2008 #10 Bifferwine I am a girl Asterinas that I have seen have never gotten bigger than a nickel or so. They stay pretty small.
Mar 27, 2008 #11 Doc I don't work for anybody if they have 6 legs, they are bad IMHO. I take them out when I can. My kids like to keep them and they have them in a pile on their dressers for showing off to friends, along with shark teeth and dead coral. weird, I know -Doc
