i have a couple piciliporas in my tank and i have noticed that away from the colonies there are 2 little, verry little pocilipora spots growing on 2 seprate rocks away from the colonies, they have no branches they are just dots right now, are these spawns or what, thinks for all help. :)

they very well could be a spwan from the coral
thats what i thought too, but i thought that coral spawning was based on the moon, and there is no moon light in my aquarium. also there is no real growth on my pociliporas would that still mean they would spawn, i have even noticed the base of the larger one has recided a tad, but would that even effect spawning??? thanks for helping :)

Someone else on here had pocillopora spawning and spreading in their tank that way. Congrats!

I had a poci spawn in my frag tank, and also have no moon cycle. Nice! Hopefully there'll be a few more that appear later on.
