Sump Idea

My current sump has my inlet on one side, fuge in the middle and return pump on the last side. It has a ton of flow threw the fuge part. I want to keep the inlet on the side it is but I want to move the return pump to the center. In the old return pump chamber I want to put my fuge in it so I can have a return line from the DT dump in here with a valve so I can slow the flow down. Ideas?

what about putting a line off your return pump with a valve to control the rate? This would eliminate an additional line coming out of your DT.

I wont need another line from my DT. Ill just put a tee on 1 of the 2 that is coming back now.
