Sump/Overflow

Should my Overflow drain into my sump below the sump water line or above it?

I like the idea of having it below the water line in my skimmer section but I wonder if that will create some kind of back pressure or something. How do you guys have yours setup?

mine drains under water it makes it quieter

I'm all for quieter, just wanted to make sure me and all my noobness was not missing something.

Under for me. Less noise is the reason I went this way.

Thanks for the input. I thought under was the way to go, but I figured I'd just ask :D

Mine is under it's a lot quieter that way.
