sump/refugium??

Hi, I would like to know what would be the perfect sump/refugium for a 30 gallon tank??

it really depends on what you have for room.. I wouldnt go any smaller then a 10 gallon personally but bigger is always better..

I would also want to know if rain water is basically the same as ro/di water

A 10gal would be fine for that size tank, but the bigger the better. And no, rain water is not the same as ro/di water. Rain water has pollutants from the air quality.
