ok , i have a fluval studio 600 33 gal. tank i am try to plumb this so that if power goes out i won't be out of luck with water on the floor. The tank is pre drilled and already had these kind of bulk heads in them i am wanting to make sure it doesn't overflow my 10 gal sump. i know its small sump but only for temporally. the bulk heads are only 25mm.
My tank is still up and this was last minute thing any help would appreciated Thanks for the help

Just watch your water level. If your pump goes out, it fills the sump. Draw a max fill line while pump is on. This also helps top off water too. It has nothing to do with plumbing if the power goes out. A 10g sump for a 33g tank is a perfect size imho. Good luck.
