Sun corals aren't picky eaters. They will take whatever they give them. They are demanding if you aren't used to target feeding your corals, but I target feed all the corals in my tank that will take food every other day, so it's not any harder for me to have sun corals.

Thought I'd add a few of my corals, see the 1st photo, the brain coral, it is attached to live rock when I purchased it, I now know it's too high in the tank but not much I can do now

Sarah can they be over fed? is every night too much could this be the cause of my high Nitrate?

Overfeeding will cause high nitrates, but sun corals need to be fed about every other day or so. That's why a good filtration system and lots of live rock is important if you keep sun corals, because you can easily spoil your water by putting so much food into the system so frequently.

I have been feeding them with cyclops and it is so small it's difficult to see how much comes out of the baster, will try filling the baster differently so as to measure how much I use, I also feed alternately with brine shrimp, krill, think they like a varied meal LOL
Just sprayed the fence which is 100ft long and 6ft high and the time was 05:00, needed to be done while cool or it blocks up and the temperature has been mid 80's for the last 2 weeks, back to bed after a shower.
