T5 HO 420nm versus 460nm Actinics

Hi,

Just a quick question concerning 420nm versus 460nm T5 Actinic bulbs. My lighting setup originally came with 420nm actinics. My tank is primarily LPS corals (Acans, micros, duncans, rhyzos, favias, RBTA, etc.) and a few fish (2 clowns and a dragonette). I've tried researching this topic but quickly get lost as most articles get very technical really fast. Would my tank receive any benefits in changing to 460nm actinics.

I'm not sure if there's any benefit,more of an aesthetic value perhaps.The mix of the two looks really,really good.The ATI blue+ bulbs are a mixture of 460/420nm(03) bulb.Its more blue than purple like full 420/03 bulbs.

Thanks for the info. I might try a combo of one 420nm and one 460nm to see how they work.
