has anyone had the seal on their tank just break? this is what i came home to on christmas eve

yes they do that sometimes and you can reseal it

Was the tank really old? Usually that doesn't happen to newish tanks.

I've not had it to happen to any of mine.But I've of it happening.
Usually with tanks thats been dry for a long time,or used for reptile enclosers.

i am not really sure how old the tank was it was given to me when helping a friend move. I have had it for a couple of years. Oh well I guess I will try to fix it and put something else in there

Resealing isnt a big deal.Just needs some 100% silicone,a caulking gun,and a steady hand.
