of course my bubble tip got restless and moved to the top of the tank likely for more light right... well how come i found him wedged deep in my live rock with a few tentacles sticking out... silly anemone i hope he comes out.

It wasn't me!
He'll move again if he isn't happy with the amount of light and food supply. I've seen them tucked deep into rock before, and happy as can be for a long time.
mine did that for a few weeks. Would shrivel up deep in my live rock and could barely see it. Now he has moved to the side of my tank under the protein skimmer and is fully extended. His base is twords the bottom attached to the rock and hasnt moved now in a week. Just wish my clowns would have hosted it instead of my cleaner shrimp lol.
