tripped gfci

.........
Sometime yesterday, the gfci on my tank tripped. The temp is now 65 degrees:frustrat::frustrat::frustrat:. So far no losses, but am gradually upping the temp. What would be too fast? I am thinking 5 degrees a day? Or would I be able to go faster...slower?

I think you are fine going faster. I bring home stuff all the time that has sat in bags or cups for hours and lost heat, and I just throw them in a tank. I think as long as you are back to normal by later tonight, you'd be fine.

Thanks. I am not quite sure how long it has been out. With this paper I am writing for school and working 10 hours over nights, I have kind of neglected the tank the past few weeks. I know it was running fine on Wednesday, but this morning it wasn't running.

That happened to me one night recently. I think it went down to around 72.
I quickly got it back up and running and let the temp rise as fast as it would go.
My new radion had a bad power supply, that's what tripped it.
