Tubeless overflow question

Will I HAVE to use a pump to keep this overflow box running?? Or are there any other methods I can use?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

there is a small nipple on the top where you hook an aqualifter to. It helps ensure that you never lose the siphon, or if power fails it will prime the box to keep your tank from overflowing if you are not home.

It looks like it uses an aqualifter. This is the pump you'd need. You can probably find it cheaper on other sites if you look around.
