Turbo Snail

Well, my Mexican Snail went belly up two days ago. Today, I saw my small Turbo Snail upside down. I turn it back on the right side. What is happening? I checked my parameters and they are;

Nitrate -20
Nitrite - 0
pH - 8.4
Salinity - 1.023

Everything else is doing good, other than my Green Chromis, who has a swollen lip. I'm thinking it is an infection.

Any thoughts?

Might be because of your Nitrates. Not sure though. But you should try and get that lowered regardless.

Nitrates are borderline dangerous for inverts. Is there enough food in the tank for them? How did you acclimate them when you bought them?

i've had them for 5 mos now. when i initially bought them, had them left in the bag inside the tank for about an hour or so. all my other inverts appears to be well. there's algae on the glass and some on the rocks. i have a large turbo snail that looks pretty at this time.

ok, let me go do a 5 gallon water change and see what that does.

Have you tested for copper? Or stray voltage? I believe when inverts are affected those are usually the culprits.
