My question/statement is this. It says to have the flow at 50GPH or to use Matrix if you have it higher than 100GPH.
I have an 80Gal tank and it is sitting in my sump. Now with the size of the return pumps we all use how could it be possible to have a flow that low.
I use a Mag 9.5 and my valve is about 50% closed. Any more open and it seems like it is flowing to fast.
While on the subject should I be calculating something to figure out how open that valve should be. It would seem I would need more water to allow me to open it more but then if the power turns off it would overflo my sump.
The way it is now gives me like 1 inch of clearance if the power goes out if the water is just refilled.
