Yes, but I wouldnt consider them a very helpful tool

Well, they are rumored to kill off the good things you want to feed your reef and help the reef. Personally, I dont see how any UV sterilizer actually does anything. I did a major project involving UV sterilization and quite frankly, the setups they sell for reef tanks arent powerful enough kill anything more than bacteria that is on the very surface of the water, which is pretty much nothing compared to what is in the tank. I think they are a scam personally.
