Water changes

I do a 20g water change every 2 weeks on my 125. This is what the tank looks like with 20g missing. The corals are out of the water about 15-20 mins and it does them no harm.

Those corals are exposed at low tide in the wild.:D
I'd about bet that being exposed like that is beneficial to em in some way.
BTW
Those look as good outta the water as they do submerged.

Nice looking tank. Now I want to get some SPS. I love that bright green one on the right side. That thing has some pop. It is surprising that they dont mind being out of the water for a bit considering how sensitive they are.

Ya, like yote said... think of the wild. Exposed for HOURS out in the hot sun.

Awesome looking colonies. Whatever that bright green furry muppet looking thing is.... I WANT IT! :D

Thanks everyone. :)
I only do the water changes with the VHO's on. I'm not sure I would want to see if they could handle MH's a foot away.
Whatever that bright green furry muppet looking thing is.... I WANT IT!
That's a green millie. I got it as a 1" frag about 2 yrs ago from Sanjay.

Geez, all these intense SPS tanks make me want to get my light upgrade now, even though I'm broke! And after seeing that millie, my tank's going to be full of 'em when I get new lights!
