Wattage per gallon

I just bought a light and it is 324W so that would be about 6 watts per gallon is that too much light?

What kind of light, what are the dimensions of your tank, how high is the light above the water surface.

I have a 48" long, 21'' deep 13'' wide tank that is 55g. I just bought a 324w 6xT5 and some moon led. And it is about 9 inches off the tank. Hope this helps

20 i think its a 75 gal

You're fine. I run 2x 150W HQI, 2 T5HO Actinic, and 4 LED moonlights PLUS two R2 moonlights all with reflectors and my tank is flourishing.
