I just picked up this coral frag last night for 20$ at a LFS. They said they did not know what it was but that I could have it for 20. Looked like a pretty decent sized frag for 20 bucks. Deal, or no Deal? What is it?

yeah looks like an acan to me, 2nd guess would be favia. I'm not too knowledgable with these types of LPS. Nice find though! Congrats, thanks for the pic

It's an acan. Which is a great deal. Usually you will pay $5 to $10 a head for an acan (depending on its color variety). Looks like yours has got at least 22 heads.

youll pay that much or more if its an aussie acan, if its a japan acan then its usually cheaper since aussie is in right now, and that is a great deal especially for the color
