Look like a bunch of algae but I'm not sure.. It's on the glass and on the sand or whatever I have.

A new tank will experience several types of algae, usually in the sequence diatoms, cyano, then hair algae. It's a normal part of a young tank. You can minimize the algae you see in the tank by using RODI water, doing regular water changes, not overstocking and not feeding.
