What kind?

I know they are zoanthids but what kind are they? And on the green one, are they grey heads dead ones? Will they fall off and new grow in their place?

Ok, the green one isn't opened up enough? And the purple one, there is one opened on the right side of it, it has a green center.

try placing them higher they dont look like they getting enough light

what your total watts of your lighting?

Yeah, I explained in another post that I just ordered my T5HO light today and for now I have just a dual flourescent over it with two T8 40W bulbs in it.

I have a T5 216 watt fixture coming but I guess it'll be about a week.

40W bulb isnt enough you need 75x4 the watts in your tank if you just want mushrooms and Zoas just get 2-3x's

Edit: just a heads up some of the MH sometime keep anything you want in your tank

im about to buy news lights to but dont have the money and not sure what to spend it on :/ T-5? Or MH? 608 watts :/

Yeah, I'm well aware the light on there now isn't good enough for them but I think it'll be good enough for a week or so til my light comes in. She's on the way!

green ones look like atomic greens idk if the outher ones have a common name. if you want them to grow in new spots zoas are easy to frag just look up guides and make sure to wear gloves if you have open wounds on your hands and eye/mouth protection.
