Im setting up my 20 gal frag tank and 29 gal sump. I've decided to ditch the Seaclone 150 and look for something better. What do you guys think would be good. Also, If someone is looking to get rid of one laying around LMK

I dont think that I would bother with a skimmer personally. Put a carbon reactor on it and change 15-20 gallons of water every week or two and call it good.
If you decide to go with a skimmer I would get an Aqua C HOB skimmer prolly. Octopus let out an HOB recently too I believe.

can you tie it into your main tank and then have that skim your tank

I could. but it would have to go into the shelf that i promised the wife as a wine rack. Plus the little man wants it in his room. I wish I could, then i wouldnt have to cycle it and cure the rock like i have to now.
