when did you get your 1st coarl?

    when did you get your 1st coarl? what was it? and how did it do?

    I got a rock of mushrooms right after my cycle was finished, and it did very well and i still have it. I also got a rock of GSP very soon and it too has continued to grow and flourish. In many ways, corals are easier than fish!

    I got a rock of mushrooms also, seemed like the easiest to care for,, then some zoas, still have both..

    Got a hammer and frogspawn, both are still growing!! :D
    Mind you i only got them about a month and a half ago! :p

    My first corals were right at the end of my cycle (about 3 weeks)

    1 kenya tree
    1 frag of 4 zoa heads
    1 anthelia tree
    1 ricordia
    1 teal mushroom

    I got a nice hook up from a fellow reefer on Craigslist! They are all growing very nicely still!

    My very first was a leather tree coral it was huge before i accidently cooked it when i changed to T5 lights :( i still had it until Hurrican ike took it in the great ocean recall lol

    I got my GSP about a month after my cycle finished, and after a year, I can't seem to get rid of it fast enough.
