Where do you buy?

um...going to revive this old post with a question:
How does the whole shipping live fish work? I've been trying to find the info on the various website stores, but nothing.
I live in a cold area, I'd guess I (obviously?) have to be home when they ship? Do you basically order it for a time you know you'll be home?

I get most most of my stuff from Drs. foster smith.com I live in MI but I try to order my stuff when it's warmer weather, but I have had some deliveries in the winter. yes, you should be home or else your shipment will be left on the porch to freeze.
 
the cold weather wont matter as long as you can get the package into your home around the time it is delivered because they pack everything in a Styrofoam box and with heat packs
