I like Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums -- they have lots of packages that give you a variety of coral for a good price. Check out their Diver's Den for more unique and expensive pieces.

For ricordea corals and zoanthids specifically, Coral Morphologic - Live Corals is phenomenal.

You're in New York? Check out Pacific East Aqua Culture. I got several large colonies from them for pretty cheap and they show actual pictures of what you are getting. I was very happy with them.

What is "one polyp"?

High end zoanthids are usually sold by the polyp. That is one individual, like this frag appears to contain about 16 polyps:

If you are not looking for the more expensive zoanthids, you can usually buy them on rocks with 100+ polyps. In cases like that, the individual polyps are not counted, but it will usually say something like a softball sized rock, a golf ball sized rock, etc to give you a rough idea of how many polyps are included.
